Witness the Power of the Riff

Five Sundays from now we shall converge on Echo Park and gather in the darkness to pay our respects to the almighty Power of the Riff.  The riff is so powerful that serious metal critics have been left with no choice but to shower praise on RATT's lastet release, Infestation.  Try to deny Warren DeMartini's riffology - I dare you.  Purists beware, this festival is a celebration of the cross-pollination of heavy genres.  What is a Cross-Pollinator?

"The Cross-Pollinator draws associations and connections between seemingly unrelated ideas or concepts to break new ground. Armed with a wide set of interests, an avid curiosity, and an aptitude for learning and teaching, the Cross-Pollinator brings in big ideas from the outside world to enliven their organization. People in this role can often be identified by their open mindedness, diligent note-taking, tendency to think in metaphors, and ability to reap inspiration from constraints."

Note-taking is key.  The festival's press release follows:

The no "ins and outs" after 5 sucks, big time, in addition to the set times announced day of. Kind of shitty.

I'm sure you're friends with Sam and/or Greg and thus are rushing to defend their honor. However, if you weren't you'd think, "wow, 10 hours stuck in the Echo really kind of blows."
